HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

This course is designed to equip learners with the foundational skills and knowledge required to provide CPR effectively. It focuses on practical, hands-on training in first aid procedures and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

  • DRSABCD action plan and responding to emergency situations
  • Managing unconscious breathing casualties
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Using a defibrillator (AED)
  • Legal issues in first aid
  • Infection control

  • Trainer-led, face-to-face in a classroom setting, combined with self-paced online pre-course learning and assessment.
